Calum is an orchestral and choral conductor, working between Edinburgh, London, and Cambridge.
His formative years were spent at the City of Edinburgh Music School, followed by reading Music at the University of Durham. Graduating from Durham in 2012, Calum was conductor of the University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, the Opera Ensemble, and President of the Music Society. Most recently, Calum has completed a Master of Music in choral conducting at King's College, Cambridge.
In 2009 Calum founded, and continues to run, the Edinburgh Incidental Orchestra, which provides high-quality performance experience for young professional musicians across Scotland.
Alongside performing, Calum enjoys leading singing workshops for young people and teaches music in Hertfordshire, having previously worked as Director of Music at a school in Cambridge.
